How to Dance - Spiral Turns

This Issue - Spiral Turns

A beautiful and popular in turn used in all the dances - dances, especially Latin.

In previous issues, we concentrated on the first two types of themselves - inside and outside vortex swirl. In this issue we are concentrating on the third type of train - Spiral Turns

TURN EXERCISE 3 - SPIRAL TURN

(Print version, you can do this exercise as you) read it.

Stand with your right side next to a table or kitchen counter too. Place your right hand onthe counter. Stand with your feet together and your weight on the ball of your right foot.

Take a big step forward with his left foot - by foot or right from your support. How will the left foot of the support leg hold back his right foot with pressure against the floor. At the ball of his left foot, pivot-1 full turn on the right allows the right leg curl around the left leg. (You'll end up in the same direction compared with the weight on his left foot,and the right leg wound themselves) to the left leg.

Next we come to the counter on the left side. Feet together and the weight of the ball toward the left foot. Place your left hand on the table

Take a big step forward with your right foot - by the foot or the left of your support. How will the right foot of the support leg hold back the left foot with pressure against the floor. At the ball of your right foot, pivot-1 full turn on the left side of the left leg curl allowsaround the right leg. (You will end up facing in the same direction with the weight on your right foot, and your left leg curled around your right leg).

Repeat the same exercise several times.

As you get more proficient you can practice away from the counter and concentrate on keeping your balance on the supporting column as well as maintaining tension between your thighs during the turn.
